Humanitarian Aid

CICM responds to the needs of people in India and surrounding countries through outreach initiatives including providing medical care, disaster relief, shelter, food, education, training, and more.

Disaster Relief

Responding to emergency situations allows CICM to help those in immediate physical need. It is not unusual for natural disasters to occur in India. Due to extreme poverty and substandard infrastructure, when disasters occur, it causes a desperate situation for the victims. Often, these people lose everything they have. CICM partners with International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) to provide disaster relief after earthquakes, cyclones, floods, droughts and tsunamis. With the help of donations from our supporters and help from IDES, CICM has distributed food, clothing, drinking water, temporary shelter and medical care to thousands of people.

When distributing the immediate basic physical needs to disaster victims, CICM’s team also takes the opportunity to address their spiritual needs and share the love of Jesus with them. As a result, many churches have been planted after CICM has helped villages recovering from natural disasters.

Persecution Relief

CICM helps pastors and families of pastors who have faced religious persecution. This initiative helps with medical expenses, replacing destroyed property, safe homes where they can relax and be restored, and other special needs of those persecuted for their faith.

Through the help of faithful supporters, CICM is able to dig wells in remote villages to bring clean and accessible water to the people who live there. Not only do the wells allow the villagers to lead healthier lives, plant crops and farm animals, it also allows CICM’s church planters to speak about Jesus Christ to the people who live there.

It costs $2,500 to dig one well. To donate in any amount towards this initiative, click here.

Widow Ministry

There are a large number of widows who have no financial means or family members to care for them. While government sponsored plans allow widows to receive $3 per month for support, even these funds often find their way into the pockets of corrupt leaders.

For the past several years, CICM has taken these women under our wings to provide food, clothing and knowledge of Jesus to them.
